This wk passed by so quickly. I slept a lot and did little work.
Not very nice feeling cos now i feel like i wasted time.. like something amiss i didn't do yet can't name what is it i wanna do.. (aka.. workaholic feeling lost..)
Today i happened to be at Raffles Place for lunch.. and though there were not many shops, i walked around to see see. It's been a long time and i felt like gg shopping! To reward myself for recovering haha.. Just to buy something nice for myself.
Dear was nice enough to take care of me and accompany me at home almost everyday this wk, bringing me to see doc and buying food for me etc. But it's also better for him cos more productive in doing his portfolio. So happy for him hehe.. thanks Dear! =)

Thank You ushers!

"I just want to say Big Thank You to all the ushers who have worked extremely hard during the Conference. Throughout the 5 days, my encounters with the ushers have been really pleasant. They are ever so helpful, always smiling, despite the difficult crowd at times.
There was once while I was queuing to enter the hall, when a group of upset foreign delegates were asking to be let into the hall. The door usher was a petite, young girl of not more than 18. She was pleasant yet firm, and was not daunted by the large crowd. Her gentle words of assurance and tact in handling the adults displayed much wisdom. I was really impressed.
Throughout the 5 days, more than the messages, the ushers' attitude truly impacted me. There are frequent incidences when ushers were reprimanded by members, delegates, greeters, yet they tried their best to be pleasant while getting their job done. I'm touched by the ushers, many of them are so young, their servanthood is really commendable.
We showcased many remarkable talents and programmes on stage during the Asia conference, but the church also showcased a great people with great attitude off-stage. That's why I sincerely think they are the unsung heroes. I would like to thank all of them for going the extra mile, I'm sure many echoed my sentiments."

Think i caught a cold/flu virus again..
Yest suddenly felt feverish in middle of night session.
This morning temperature went high up so ask Dear come and bring me see doc..
Have to take antibiotics again (which isn't very ideal) cos my mum say next time when immune system down u will fall sick easily.. well just gotta trust God for divine health liao!

At Chicago's Steakhouse (Cineleisure)
Food is nice and affordable! 2 main courses with soup+garlic bread only $33 plus. Service is good too!
Nice shirt? I buy one hahaha.... it's less than $12 but very nice rite!

Had the privilege of going to ACS (Barker Road) for meeting with their D&T teacher.
Jaw-dropping school compound/facilities: Basement carpark, foodcourt-like canteen, big swimming pool etc. Makes me wonder.. what a vast difference compared to the less academically inclined students in the neighbourhood schools.. the environment they live in and how they are treated.
Can u believe it.. the school office reception.. does it even look like a school hehe

Side note: I really hope my kids go into a good chinese school (like River Valley, Hwa Chong, Chung Cheng etc) as compared to good english school.. cos it's in line with the culture that me and yonghui grew up in hehe..

I did it finally!
Dear and I went to the gym today to workout haha... i think jeff won't believe it man. yesh after much procrastination but it's really gd that i'm getting started again to live a healthier lifestyle.
On the treadmill, (watching tv at the same time).. i ran for 25 min, covering (only) 2km, and burnt __ (forgot how much) calories.
Thks to Dear who helped me adjust the settings of the different "stations", and helping me do sit-ups! 2 is better than 1 hahah.. It was all guys there in the gym lor, so how would i wanna go alone haha.. Think we gg to have regular dates at the gym! Save $ and healthy :P
