Yea ALL exams passed and assignments cleared!
5 more days to go!!

Yest received yet another blessing from my dad who paid for a black pants which cos $49.90.. Today my dear cousin passed me my first bday present.. very very nice! haha.. =) Feel so loved by God u know.. hehe..

Also watched quite a few shows recently hehe after the loads being lightened and i have some breathing time. But after SOT is full gear in other areas as well..

Also hereby wanna appreciate the (relatively new) two "best friends" of mine.. you know who you are.. That esp in these 4.5 months in SOT that we really grow closer.. i enjoyed all the meals together, using laptop in McDonalds until i a bit sick the food, chatting on the phone and gg for movies together etc.. i really enjoy myself hanging out with u guys.. the rest of my close friends think i can thank after my bday ah ahaha..

Thank God for grace and protection -- i made it safely from ubi to shenton way and back, in a manual red Fiat van yesterday haha.. I'm now a more experienced driver! oh ya.. as of 22 Aug no more P-plate!!!! PTL!!! *Jean or Sijia can buy the $11 plates from me hahahaaa...

Yep.. anyway now til sun i won't have much time to sleep le.. anyway it is good to serve the man of God in our lives and in our ministry =0) hehe..

yep 9 more days to go!! I'm very excited.. of course it has been a really good 4.5 months but this is the start and launching pad for all of us in our walk with Him and breakthroughs are on the way! And I prefer working than studying frankly haha..

This is my third mission trip, of which it’s the second time to Indonesia. From all these, I now strongly believe the special grace and provision God will give when we avail ourselves to go into missions. A few days before we went, God reminded me of the mission fund offering I gave during Rev Robb Thompson week in May, praying that this year I can have the funds to fulfill the strong desire for missions. Thinking back, I knew the part time job I started in July was the provision for the JB mission trip (22 July 07) and this Batam Emerge. On the day we left for Batam, I also received another $50 blessing from my cousin. God is indeed good!

It is really a great privilege to be the main hall IC and be involved in planning of operations. It is like a dream come true for me to use my ministry calling and gift in the mission field. All the training I had in church was put to good use in supporting the services.

Really look forward to going at least 2 mission trips a year in future, including next year’s Taiwan Emerge because also have a burden for the Chinese speaking people. Also want to try going to the remote villages for a different experience. Like what Pastor Kong mentioned in bible school, missions help us not to get too materialistic and always thinking about ourselves. When I prosper financially abundantly, I would firstly think of how to be a blessing to people around me and how much I can give pour into missions.

Announcement:
I'll be away from Fri 17 Aug 1pm - Sun Aug 8am.. Batam Emerge finally!! YEAH!

Tue went to this craft/card raw-materials shop in PS.. realize it's a new shop of an interesting concepts and has many nice things!! For those who dunno, i really love to make cards and craft items... and had the dream of doing it as a business.. Lingered around in the shop for almost 20 min.. bought the rub-on stickers u saw on the pouch.. wow it really rekindled my passion and i realized i still love art and craft work haha.. won't mind collecting these raw materials to make things for ppl some day.. wah this hobby is not cheap also.. hehe

My recent seasonal craving: Fried fish bee hoon soup! with more milk and red chilli! hee..

Last Sat i was blessed by a story that Selena said:

It's a movie story of someone acting as "God" disguised as a waiter, serving a depressed woman who's gorging herself with food.

"God": Hey, you look like have a bad day..
Woman: Ya.. but i guess you dun have time to listen to me..
"God": No no i have time, why not share with me..

And the woman poured her heart out.

"God": Sometimes you pray to God that you want breakthroughs or better relationships but God must create opportunities for these things to happen! That's why this is what you are going through..

The woman suddenly knew the reason why she's going through such difficult situations..
Cos God is creating opportunities for your prayers to come true..
It is so true in our own lives that everything happens for a reason..

hehe i'm fine le.. exams cancelled tml hehe.. everyone got some breathing time.

Counting down.. 18 more days

It's strange that i am now used to not sleeping a lot. Sun night after dinner at Bugis i slept at 10plus and was more tired on Mon morning than Tue morning where i only slept 3 hrs.

Monday when Pst Kong was talking abt the church's sending ability, God reminded me of the few times i specifically gave to the missions fund in my offering (Robb Thompson that whole wk during SOT). God remembers.. and He provided me all that i needed this Batam Emerge Mission Trip.

Feel more refreshed today, faith coming back in the midst of the all the pressure haha.. hai i know areas i need to change and crucify my flesh and to be more positive! Cast all my cares to God le!

Pst Kong is gg to finish the series on fivefold ministry tml le.. Now on last ministry of the apostle and we drawn and learnt so much so much from him. Share some things that impacted me and i hope this helps some of u reading this..

~Leadership doesn't exist without influence.

~Focus on how deep your roots grow in God, God will take care of how far your branches can extend. Doesn't matter at all if nobody notices you now. Be found faithful in everything, one day when it's God appointed time, your leaders will eventually "sniff" you out!

~It is your character that determines your calling. So have your character developed, values changed and attitudes fine-tuned through discipleship.

~With relationship comes expectation (in terms of discipleship). A disciple-maker is able to go straight to the point in correcting his disciples.

~The ability to lead is the ability to serve! minister = servant

~People tend to follow those who're stronger than them.

Yep. Cos went to Batam for reece yest, have to go Sat's make-up cgm. For once in years i get to sit down enjoy cgm haha... will be fun to visit my very first discipler's cg hehe..

Batam reece was interesting.. Welton was there zuo bo-ing so asked him to help be our "chair-man" (carry chairs haha).. anyway the famous J.Co Donuts there is indeed quite nice.. haha but i dun have sweet tooth so can't eat alot.

Didn't really watched the NDP cos so tired i took a short nap. But saw the fireworks at the end.. i love fireworks.. And when they play the singapore-theme songs, tears welled in my eyes and presence of God came upon me (it happens almost every yr). Though i not the kind that super enthu and patriotic to put up spore flag or watch full NDP performance.. every time i can't help but thank God for His goodness that Singapore is a place with freedom, peace, prosperity, security etc..

No school today.. Praise the Lord for some spare time.. i went to rebond my hair finally hehe..

I may be going Batam for Reece on Wed (cos Jeff gotta work) so gotta take make up exam on Fri night.. Big burden when there is so little time left =)
