After 3 days of full fast.. today my stomach got used to being without food.. very unlike me haha (for those tat know me well enough). morning only had wafer and coffee.. wasn't hungry after sch .. and worked 6 hrs straight then only felt hungry at 8pm.. hmm.. actually already 12 hrs without solid food.. only mint.. so just had dinner with ser and louisa then i took a slow nice stroll back in the cool of the night hehe..

Last night aft prayer meet we had supper at allson hotel there.. cos SOT ppl had lack of food the past 3 days.. at least there are sporty frens like ser, sean, jincai (:P), xiong and (almost reluctant) peifen (in gold cap) ahah.. was quite some time since i had supper but wanna feed me with food? any time.. haha

Wanna thank God for the freelance graphic design job.. have some source of income le. at least i know that when i doing what i like, time pass very fast and dun feel tired when doing it.. and i trying to learn as much as i can in my software skills.. at least be excellent in what i am called to do =) Thank God for a financial blessing today too that someone decided to subsidize my contact lens haha.. PTL!

Last wk when i went out shopping i remember there were some things i wanted to get but not able to at the moment.. and guess what i forgot what are the things cos never write down haha.. when i remember i will prepare my list haha..

Today marks the 7 years of knowing the Lord.. still remember that time was family carnival at Hollywood.. wow time flies! my biao ge Keng Hoe took the step of faith to invite me for the first time in Dec 99.. then wanna thank Qin and Ken for bringing me to church again on 25th Jun 00.. Thanks for the 9.5 years of friendship too!

I had low self esteem and always felt inferior to others before i was saved. Until i met God who gave me the unconditional love, peace and joy.. In times when all things fail (ppl dun understand u or offend u or mistreat u)..i can just lift my burdens up to Him and say "God, You are in control" and everything will turn out well for my good! Thank God for everything that i have now and who i am today..

Ok i must mention the other new found good friend so that she won't be jealous ahaha.. you know who u are. guess it's just the start.. now is Jun 2007. we will look back one day and remember these times.. hehe

anyway i bought my contacts from Spec Hut at a gd price.. got discount mah and support our own ppl. =) Also gotten a nice belt hehe.. think all the walking today can be considered as good exercise too :P

This morning after i met my helpers.. i remembered at the end of it i was praying for fruitfulness and faithfulness in the section. Guess what.. after that there were 4 recruitments and 2 trials..think the most ever that came in within one recruitment session. during worship in svc, felt God telling me.."It was because you prayed that prayer.." See.. prayer works! though it was just a general and short word.

just to share more abt my journey in usher ministry...
When i first joined usher ministry i was really excited, always trying to avail myself though it is often hard work and sweat (esp support duties n recycling in drive-thru area haha).. But somehow i was sure in my heart that this is where i want to stay and grow in the long term. Actually anyone can be an usher cos it is not such a technical ministry like sound etc.. just learn people skills. Anyway so til now as a TL.. thinking abt my next step in doing more.. i had a revelation of why i am here doing the things i am doing:
During GOTP Lesson 2 in SOT (24/05/07) , Bobby was going thru the 7 pcs of furniture in the tabernacle and what they represent. He wanted us to ask God what our gift is:

1. Brazen Altar -- evangelist, salvation
2. Laver -- pastor, dedication and consecration of water baptism
3. Table of Showbread -- teacher, showing Jesus as bread of life
4. Golden Lampstand -- anointing of God, moving in signs and wonders
5. Altar of Incense -- prayer and intercession
6. Ark of Covenant -- lead ppl within the veil
7. Mercy Seat -- minister the mercy of God

When he came to the last point, i just felt the presence of God came upon me (tat's usually how i know it's God speaking to me), that this is my gift out of the 7 things in this list: showing mercy of God. This explains why i am in this ministry (of helps and mercy) and double confirms my calling in my ministry.. So.. which is your gift? =) For God to know, for you to find out.

Though my fingers are swollen after playing for 2 prayer meetings these 2 days tat lasted abt 4.5 hrs in total.. happy to be blessed with a ride home today by Weiliang (Bruce's member).

It was a great week with Pst Kong teaching us cultural mandate in depth at SOT.. I know many ppl think Pst has preached this before and many times. But the materials are more detailed and in depth here in Bible School of course haha.. It really opened me up to be more aware of the pop culture like movies, music, advertisements, fashion, ARTS..

Every time Pst mentions abt the words aesthetic, arts, design.. my heart skips because i am a designer by vocation.. it is in me and part of me. ARTS is the closest category in the list of pop culture and in the pillars of the marketplace. Want to compile the bible references and principles related to my vocation.. and how to engage the marketplace in this area..

It's gone... I lost one side of my contact lens.. $150 gone. really very sad but wat to do.. cos i dunno when i can get new ones.. have to look nerdy for a while (or studious if u prefer).. sigh of all times this wk when there is section outing and pst kong coming SOT this wk..

Happy Father's Day! We had lunch on Sat at New York New York @ Citylink. Not bad! reserved a table in the "cubicle" with nice green sofa.. Affordable price, nice food, got ambience hehe..

My favourite dessert: waffle with ice-cream! (cos they didnt have brownie with icecream)..
Dont' drool....

My sis bought new bedsheets and it's my fav colour ORANGE!
Okie.. i know u gg to say it is orange-brown rite.. nvm it's still nice to me as long as it's that tone.. Seeing orange makes me happy.. I dont know why but i just love it.. esp combinations like black and orange colour.. Gonna look forward to fellowship with my bed more often le haha...

Wah this week can really feel the drain... PA week for my team.. have to reach abt 45 min earlier than usual.. zzzZZZ... we clean pulpit, carry boxes, align chairs and i even did ushering!! what to do.. by profession liao mah..

Pst Kong is coming next week to teach culture mandate! Hope his schedule won't change... and see if any opportunity to take photo with him hahaha...

Assignment just crossed the halfway mark... pia-ing now so that i can go for Mon's outing "in peace" (i.e. go in peace).. hehe

I think everyone is stretched in this season.. there is a new move of God in the church (if you still haven't realise) and everytime it will be a time of moulding. So I'm not surprised. God is faithful, devil is scared and we always win! I might have to step into uncertainty and experience a CHANGE again... hmm stepping out of comfort zone..feeling the struggle in my heart now.. sorry it's a parable that only I understand..

Pst Audrey mentioned today in the AFV lesson during SOT and i thought of you JD.. =) I know that you've come to an understanding of the situation le but hope to share with u this:
Sometimes it is not impt who is right or wrong so should not keep thinking abt it as not your fault that you felt tat way.. Even when certain things happen, we dun blame the circumstances saying that we are forced into it cos God and even the devil cannot touch your freewill..
But u can cast yourself upon the mercy of God everytime and everything can be RESTORED. Relationships can be restored, forgiveness will flow... When you pray like this.. God will see your heart of brokenness and restores what the devil trys to destroy.. u see the big picture?
Everyone is part of the whole body in this church and we need each other! =) Jia you ok?? Breakthrough is on the way!

If only laptops can be thin as a file and light as a book will be marvellous... cos it's useful and necessary when i want to do work outside.. but it's so heavy on me that my back and shoulder aches.. hmmm

Bit tired physically but have a few things to share..

1. Pst Ming shared that Jesus was humbly born in a "carpark" -- modern version of the manger! Cos last time horses were the mode of transport mah.. haha

2. Being a leader in church = a high class SLAVE... cos the way up is the way down.. To me, being an SL is really serving every ushers' needs and seeing their lives transformed.. So anyone still want to be a leader (aka servant)? hehe.. it's a privilege to serve God ya? =)

3. Had a vision today that Jesus holds our hearts in His hands when He heals our broken hearts from hurts and pain.. just like how He heals sick people with His hands..

Yep and God is Creator of us and the whole universe!

Yesterday's GOTP last lesson, on the point of fullness of faith to be a true worshiper of God, Bobby was sharing his story of how he learnt to preach in Chinese 2 years ago, even though his school teacher said he couldn't make it in school more than 15 yrs ago. He ended by saying if it's not things that God said, discard it.. "Who told you that you cannot do it?" .. "WHO TOLD YOU..?" If it is not from God, throw it away!

SOT celebrated Bobby's birthday today. He's going to help with the opening of Taiwan SOT for abt a mth..so pray that everything will be smooth!

Also realized i have a lot of things to do.. just listed them this morning so need some discipline to get things going..

First entry..

Nothing much to do today after the whole emerge. so decided to create somethings for fun... I slept for almost 12 hrs straight haha..

Meditating on what God has revealed to me the past 6 wks in bible school ..God is awesome! =)
