Yest Grp 4 outing was fun! wah time flies.. i still remember vividly the outing 1 yr ago.
On the way to Pasir Ris, i suddenly remembered all my gd frens like gene, jer, yongwei etc and suddenly miss the times being in grp 4 hehe.. I guess tat is one of the best thing that happened in 2007.. having great frens and leaders in this grp.

It started pouring when me, van and pris were sitting behind sijia's lorry, of course not to mention the others at the pit were totally drenched. Many ushers fell sick.. hopefully everyone recover soon. Many photos in my camera but need some time to edit so be bit patient ya? haha..

The ultimate joke of the day tat made us laugh until our sides ache and our tears flowed:
Yongwei's "when he ask for something, he really ask for something"... wahahah..

Hung out at MrBean @ Selegie with Jer, Bernard, Liting, Aaron, Yongwei, Tommy til 2.30am.. now abit "hang over''.. haa..

Looking forward to "reunion dinner" tonight at gene's place.. and to play with Buddy! He's so cute.. he will cuddle beside you on the sofa to sleep when he's tired. These few days my msn will be more peaceful since my other buddy is out of town haha.. ok la back to work..

i have not broke down from stress for a long time.. esp regarding ministry things.. it's a long story.. only those who know will know. i did my part to keep things in place yet things still happen.. what has happened has happened so what else can i do. so little manhood nowadays i already close one eye haha.. if i can i wouldn't wanna trouble others.. if only i have a car? should i blame myself that i don't have a car to do what i need to do for the ministry? hai wat a way to end of the year? haha..

Sorry that i needed some place to let out the air.. no worries i'm okie =) It's settled for now.. but i think i stress until gastic now.. hmm

4 days to end of 2007.

Any thoughts?

Good news #1: i've upgraded! i'm now the 2nd-man in the office cos only 1 boss left. Have shifted over to the bigger table, now have my own pedestal and desktop workstation. feels good to have a table to have a sense of belonging to =)

Good news #2: one of my frens who is a cgl mentioned that one of his members wanna join usher. When my fren asked why he's interested, he said that he felt warm and welcomed when the ushers smiled at him when he first came to church. WOW!! Amazing testimony and yet again proven that we are not just pillars but we make a difference.. so everybody.. share with your ushers and fellow usher friends!

Good news #3: A close friend has found a good job!! And so receiving a small gift from him soon that he has felt led to give hehe..

God is good all the time =)

It's Christmas Day 3am.

Yesterday's svc at Jurong West was great .. i think everyone did well! All the services at Expo and JW had good and overflowing attendance so far...later is the final day for us to hit the target 50K!

Realise i haven't blog for a few days.. not exactly busy but just nothing much special.. gonna get my new 'toy' tml.. my first PMP (portable media player) hehe..

School teachers seems to have to be adaptable and flexible people cos the school timetable is not out until the last wk of Dec (1 wk or a few days before school reopens).. if u know me i'm more of the well-organized schedule kind of person.. i like to plan ahead my timings and dun like last min things or changes if it can be avoided.. Even til now the curriculum is not confirmed and worked out properly.. no choice la since all of them are on 'holiday'. So bit kan chiong tat they last min 'chu' stun and i have to do lot of last min work agh.. mixed feelings when i'm supposed to enjoy the public holidays haha..

And.. my sis coming back after a month.. chezz.. implying no space at home again haha

Met Matthias for lunch.. had a good catch-up and was discussing on his business model. (Yet again) it stirred my passion again.. the thing that has always been at the back of my mind (yet i didn't have time to do and no idea how to go abt doing) -- designing/making customized greeting cards. every time someone mentions abt the opportunities in this, i feel like life is coming back to me haha.. the sense of purpose is stirred.. Let's see how it goes.. i need to start building the design portfolio for that le.. =)

Another long day in JW: 8.15am-6pm.
Drizzled a bit but was very gd already.. considering who was T2 haha..
Excited it's Christmas! Cleared more than half my shopping list of Xmas prez.. really feels good to give and bless.. but on the other hand felt the burnt pocket haha... hmm ok la still happy =)

Aiyo something happened when Lex bought sneakers at Converse.. He paid for the shoes and realise the previous customer "shun shou qian yang" and took 2 pairs of shoes.. The shop assistant went out for a long time to chase but dun think managed to find the person le.. wonder if they'll have pay cut..

Gd news! Very excited! i'm gg Taiwan for holiday in May 08!! Ok dun be surprised but it's my first time gg tat far and gg on holiday with a great bunch of friends.. Think it'll be very fun! =)

2 wks plus haven't seen Buddy.. must take a photo next time.. heard he drank a bottle of nail polish and yet still running ard like nothing happen haha...

Getting a bit gan chiong cos half of Dec is GONE! Jan start the training at Jurongville Sec but still lots of materials to prepare. i won't need to go back office most of the time le.. will have to crack my brain wat to do during the breaks between the lessons..

I'm really in love with Desigual.. (thanks to my cousin?? haha just kidding).. the clothes are very unique and really nice.. buy $200 will get free membership and 10% off every $200 purchase next time.

I can't stand myself cos i forgot to take out the charger from my laptop (yet again) and it was charged overnight!! AGH.. dangerous when i'm tired and groggy and mind not clear haha.. this morning almost overslept on the bus to work..

And also, it was some time ago tat i felt leg aching from duty.. then i realise cos expo not tat much steps so the JW feeling is coming back haha..

Congrats to Vinson and Aizhen the newly wed! First time seeing Pst Kong as conducting wedding =)

i don't meet up with my trench buddies (jeff and matt) often but depends on the season and availability (advance booking not in practise) haha.. After the 'last supper' before their trip.. kind of feel that i will miss them.. jeff and pf etc.. though it's only a wk. Sigh everyone's gg overseas holidays.. wat am i doing here haha..

Had the urge to drive on Friday.. thinking of renting car for xmas but it's the $$ involved so have to do my maths and see how.. Lex was not free at the moment when 80 they all need to leave for airport.. so first time driving Alan's airwave today back to expo.. for those tat wanna suan me can forget it.. cos i am confident of driving it k.. AND i came back from airport in ONE PC. YESH.. seriously i think i'm not a bad driver.. sigh so stop making fun of me ok..? =) haha...

Think i'm crazy.. ironing clothes and watching vcd show at 2am on Sat night when i have duty in a few hrs time. But no choice.. if not i dunno when i got the xing4 zhi4 to do it..

This wk had been tiring and sleepy.. not so much physically but visually.. think my contact lens cannot tahan the cold and dryness under the harsh office aircon condition.. some more weather so nice to sleep... zzzZZZ

anyway i getting full day off on xmas eve yea!! Can sleep late on Sunday.. can go any where wahah..

agh really dislike the terrible crowd at peak hour.. plus the rain today.. aghh! everyone gets in ur way..

Bit 'devastated' when i saw the same facial foam less than half the price at another toiletries shop compared to Watsons!! Really can't believe it.... Tot the most is just a little cheaper didn't wanna take the trouble... BUT...i NEVER gg to buy at Watsons again.. ya shows tat the things at home all not bought by me last time haha...

And guess wat.. u must see my newly highlighted red hair! I concluded that only with bleach then the colour can be this outstanding..

Had a gd catch-up with wb and jer.. but kanna suan by them again.. wat to do? haha..

finally the first svc happened in JW... it was a gd job by everyone! considering the rawness for most ushers as a first time (in a long time).. expo was fighting to fill seats, JW was fighting to find the tiniest sitting space on the steps to squeeze that one more person entering the hall.. i think many ppl crash jurong lor... (maybe some from svc 2 overslept!) of course it's also not tat much an option to give members the idea it's the backup service la.. haha

Very touched by the "moral support" of Gene n Nat (who brought down some essential items from expo) and waiting for us to finish meeting.. at least we in jurong are not forgotten ahah.. hai the piggy head who suggested sakura after the first svc wasn't even free lo.. though we didn't had a big feast and fellowship, the zhi cha meal at the nostalgic Holland V was gd too, after a long tiring day. Then here's the interesting photos during the finale game at Settler's Cafe: JENGA! We had fun =)

Went down JW set up the sets.. on the way at outram mrt, for a moment i was thinking which side after coming out from the lift.. Left to the West, Right to the East.. now it's gonna be different...

Then visited the Singapore Design Festival 07 at the City Hall with NUS ex-classmate.. (http://app.singaporedesignfestival.com)
It's really inspiring.. Though half the time i was more interested in the structure of the old supreme court.. it's interesting how it looks inside! anyway so those who wanna have more exposure to arts/design/architecture etc do drop by =) Don't forget ur camera cos there are many nice artistic photos u can take.. too bad my sis took away the digicam and hp today low batt.. wasted didn't manage to take many photos.. cost only $5 to go in this part of the exhibition (whole of level 4).
