Hey! I just came back from the one-day JB mission trip.. thanks to those who prayed for me! it was fun and great time! "Fun" cos last min when we reach there they wanted to sing different praise and worship songs so we changed on the spot, didn't even have much time to practise. But thank God the teens knew the songs and the praise and worship was tremendous!

Drama, testimony, preaching were very good and the presence of God was so strong in the place. The kids were impacted. After the sermon and altar call, they wanted to sing another song which we didn't prepare.. So play by faith! Haha.. glad all went well and there was an atmosphere of faith. i'm not very gd in terms of skills but did learn a bit more, esp playing the guit in a band.

Happy to have made some more friends in this trip..mostly from team 1. After the service, the host family invited us to their home for home-cooked lunch. satay beehoon, chicken rice, salad, curry potato, durian, rambutan... dun drool haha.. They have 8 dogs and 2 cats in the house.. Though I had overcome the fear of dogs last time after some home visits but usually i will still keep away from them. But this time strangely i loved to play with the cute little dogs. Mayb my heart has opened up to accept more things after this trip.. So we fellowshipped and then head back to Spore - to home (supposed to sleep cos i woke at 4.30am but very excited so posted this first). Anyway the whole trip was a great experience.. It was a great time! =)

Now all of us have to face the fact.. studying 2 "big" BS books for Wed's test.. AFV and GOTP! Pray for strength and wisdom le..jia you all the SOT ppl.. exactly 6 more wks only .. Persevere! The end will be better than the beginning! no matter how difficult u think things are becoming..

Looking forward to the Batam Emerge which we are planning, and Jeff is gg over to recce tml. I think it will be also another time when new experiences can be gained and spiritual senses are strengthened.. So encourage everyone to go for as many mission trips as you can afford to.. dun ever think that you are too insignificant to play a part there.. when we go for mission trips, there will be a special grace and anointing.. And you will come back stronger!=)
