Peifen says I seldom update the blog. Haha it's true cos sometimes dunno what to write, sometimes too tired to write. But it's good too that only the older or closer friends will read my inner thoughts. Since facebook started, many people has stopped writing blogs, even the links on my blog are quite 'deserted'.

I think it's the first time after married that Dear is travelling to a far place without me! Of course it's nice to have some personal time or can arrange to meetup the long time friends. But having a soul mate and husband has been the greatest thing in life (second to knowing God), cos there is an expectancy that u can share every single thing. It's such a joy, even a simple thing of having same interest in watching taiwan variety shows together (cos don't need to fight over TV channels) haha..

Having a home is also the greatest dream, of course dedicated to God and that many people will be blessed through it! Renovation is tiring, but now thinking of the things to move, even more sian ahaha.. Hoping everything will be smooth and fast! :)

Always enjoyed the fellowship with great friends like Peifen, Audrey, Zhihua, Sol etc. This is my church, my life!

Wow the past 1 month after we got our keys, we been running around meeting different interior design firms. Finally decided on Rezt & Relax. We were comfortable with Cynthia and like her design and sincerity. It was a good deal and I'm very happy to be able to have the BLUM kitchen cabinet system and gotten the free gift: Orga-Line kitchen accessories! Yay!!

Trip to Expo "My Home 2011"

Had quite a fruitful trip to "My Home 2011" exhibition at Expo today. We found a mattress (and pillows) that suits us so much! Bought the Englanders Hotel Deluxe Queen Size Mattress (used in many 5 star hotels in USA) for a good deal of $1800 excluding bed frame.

Also waiting for some quotations and found someone from Sky Creation who understood what design we wanted. Anticipating a nice proposal on Thursday and a good price with reasonable budget!

I can't believe it's just 16 more days... where have my past 1-2 months went to?

This is the first time I'm away from my job for so long.. and the timing is just so "nice" that everything happens around this time. I'm frantically trying to clear my work and handover properly so that my colleague knows what to do when I'm away. This wk almost everyday I had to reach Jurongville at 7.15am. My goodness.. I'm nocturnal and couldn't sleep even at 1 am...

Also, I'll be leaving from the current office to be on 3 wks leave, and appear at my new table in the new office where everyone else gotta help to shift to; just opposite road at another building. Wow.. coming back with a new status, sit in a new office, and so on and so forth.. After the wedding is the house and after moving into the new home, I really hope to take things easy.. to enjoy the ppl and things around me. Ok! That's all for now :)

The happiest thing today (other than having a great duty and fellowship with my group) is that i bought my wedding shoes from one of my fav shoe shops Anna Nucci!
I know the photo a bit blur but i think many would agree it's nice!! :P
There are handmade (according to the sales gal) and one shoe per size only.. although it's a bit steep in price but i love it! :)

It's so good to have a nice rest day of peace and to spend time alone today. Though I made a wasted trip to Universal Studio trying to collect some free tics, managed to go Bras Basah checked out the prices of the materials and later on for facial. Went through some bridal magazines that Lijun kindly passed to me and picked out some nice designs. Now it's time to start 'work' on my computer and watch variety shows! :)

We have fixed our Matrimony cum Solemnization cum Wedding Dinner on 12 June 2011 (7pm) at The Legends Fort Canning Park!

God is good! Cos it was the very first venue we visited and we were in time for a good package deal. The service of our sales manager is good, and the management has even settled the legal copyrights of music played at their venue. Hopefully everything will continue to go on smoothly!

Next step is to find my bridal package.. which can be a big headache. But praying for open doors to the right shop which are not so pushy and show us the hidden costs. Most important is a place where i can find the gowns i like and provide very good service! :o)

I suddenly realise the importance of food and nutritional knowledge. I just knew from doctor that caffeine (coffee or tea) shouldn't be taken during meals as it prevents the absorption of iron! This is the 2nd time consecutively I couldn't donate blood due to low iron level (10.5 instead of the minimum 12.5). All along I thought my diet was pretty balanced n my body is pretty fit n healthy. Now I realise i have wasted much food cos the nutrients have all gone missing and lost haha.. Well the floor is open for more discussion if anyone has any other advice in this area hehe..

Praise the Lord for the great miracle n blessing! Overwhelmed yet expected, bcos it is not coincidence that Dear n I had the same confidence n God-given faith in getting the flat, although everyone thought it was expensive n difficult to get. We just knew that God will reserve a unit for us. It was this period of time when we clinged on n pray everyday n wait for God's timing for the promise to come to pass. Even before we started pledging n giving for the coming Arise n Build, we've reaped n been blessed! Indeed God is faithful n He rewards our sacrifices in giving n serving! God will build your house even as you build His. Thank God for everything! ;)

By faith I gave a big offering again as Pst challenged us to give to the poor in Haiti and "lend to the Lord". Wrote on the envelope once again the miracle that we need from God.. God came thru for me many times the things that I asked for when i wrote on the envelope. I believe God can do it again for me. Only Believe!! We believe God will give us a house as we have sown so much over the years to build His! 2010 will be a year of restoration and abundance! :)

Had a nostalgic feeling when I went Bukit Merah Central for dinner cos cg was at EDB Learning Centre.

The Sweet Ring bakery still going strong even after 10-15 years.. At least I rmb it was there when I was young, gg to that area for shopping, swimming, library etc. Now even the swimming pool is closed down so sad.. Brings back much memories.

After cgm, craving for coffee, jialat.. Tml need to work and wake early :)

I love this photo! We spent some time today watching movie at home and cooking instant noodles!

Passed some items to Dear in prep of his trip to Guangzhou next Tue to Sat.. gonna miss him!

I havent had such a 'bad' day in a long time. Super sian today.. Wasted much previous time n $.. I could have gone straight for cg event. Reached expo then realise Alan was there n could have taken the stickers to bring to jw. Didn't manage to to pass the paradox in time n in the end actually I can bring during admin meeting since I'm in the dept. Worse thing is queued for an hour to find out that my iron level was low n can't donate blood today... Didn't eat enough meat yesterday? Haha... Hai

wow 21 months and we're as loving as ever wahaha... our friends around can verify that rite? :P

We had dinner at different place which we haven't tried before, called Hot Tomato Express at Plaza Sing Basement 2. Nice food and reasonable price!

The garlic bread was soft and light.

Hmm but i dunno why some reviews were bad.. maybe you can try it yourself :)

Then shopped at Daiso and bought some essential things to organise and enhance our lives haha.. so exciting :P

On monday, it was also the first time Dear hosted a wedding dinner as emcee :)

With a heavy heart but with much amazement..
Even now when i watch the trailer again, I'm so touched that my hair stands.

At 50 years old, he still dance like he was 30.
He remembers all his songs, tempo and so on..
He didn't boss around on stage like a superstar but apologized and
explained his reasons for wanting to redo the song/segment again.
He brought the rest of the concert team together to thank them,
led them in motivation and blessed them.

What I liked most was that he really sang live!
Although it was just rehearsal and he didn't put in 100% energy,
but to me it's more precious than the concerts 17 years or more ago.
I would wanna buy the DVD.
He was awesome; filled with passion and love.

We miss you MJ..

Once again God has shown Himself faithful. Thank God for His provision!! Yet another adjustment from the increment 2 months ago.. Wow wow! In Him there is no recession, on the contrary we're expanding :)

Nice "executive lunch" at Swensens today. Lunch hours only so should go when u free. Main course's price but with soup, drink n ice cream!

Cycling!

It was good exercise n fun today!

We became tanned and our muscles aching now hee...

Also saw much nice scenery (cos the landscape at East Coast has changed alot for the better) and many planes taking off (close up) near Changi Area!

In total we cycled for abt 4.5km in 2 hours plus. Compared to the last time we came, i think our stamina improved a lot cos we had regular workouts! hehe... anyway check out my fb for more photos and captions :)
